Landscape Maintenance Foreman
Prewett, Read & Associates is a design-build landscape architecture firm in Houston, Texas. Established in 1998, we specialize in high-end residential design, construction, landscape installation, and maintenance.
We’re looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a crew responsible for maintaining high-end residential landscapes throughout the Houston area.
Qualifications
Experience leading a landscape maintenance crew, preferably in high-end residential landscaping.
Strong working knowledge of horticultural maintenance, including proper pruning, planting, fertilization, and seasonal color.
Ability to recognize common plant, turf, irrigation, pest, disease, and drainage problems.
Basic irrigation knowledge, including inspections and controller programming.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead, train, supervise, and work alongside an assigned landscape maintenance crew.
Plan and organize daily work to ensure properties are completed efficiently and to company standards.
Maintain the appearance and health of high-end residential landscapes through proper horticultural practices.
Identify and communicate plant health, irrigation, drainage, pest, and other property concerns.
Communicate professionally with clients when necessary.
Complete required job documentation accurately.
Prepare and maintain trucks, trailers, tools, equipment, and materials.
Properly apply fertilizers and landscape chemicals after appropriate training and in accordance with company safety procedures.
Uphold and monitor compliance with all company safety policies.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 (based on experience)
